Hours & Rates for photography sessions

Basic Plan: economical

$30.00 a photo session (about an hour) for still digital photography | (includes: minimum of 1 hour photo shoot {includes a 45 minute free set-up/walk thru } / studio lighting {if needed} / 36 digital *Jpeg photographs / and ownership of 36 digital photos) - if printed photos are needed, I do work with a professional photo lab ... contact me for a free estimate cost.

Upscale Plan: professional

$150.00 a photo session (about an hour) for still digital photography | (includes: minimum of 1 hour photo shoot {includes a 45 minute free set-up/walk thru } / studio lighting {if needed} / 50-100 digital **RAW photographs / and ownership of digital photos) - if printed photos are needed, I do work with a professional photo lab ... contact me for a free estimate cost.

Exceptions:

• Event shoots (typically 8 hour gig - $240)

*JPEG is a widely used, raster image file format that employs lossy compression to significantly reduce file size, making images smaller and faster to upload, download, and share online, though this process removes some image data and quality. JPEGs are ideal for finished photographs and web images due to their small size and ability to store rich color information, but they are not recommended for images requiring transparency or for storing original source files for future editing.

**Raw photos" (or RAW files) are high-quality, unprocessed image files containing all the data captured by a camera's sensor, offering maximum control for post-processing at the cost of larger file sizes and requiring a conversion step before sharing or displaying. In contrast, JPEG files are smaller, processed, and compressed, making them easier to use immediately but with less editing flexibility and potential loss of detail.

My area of work in the United States & Abroad:

• Locally - Illinois area; Manteno, Peotone, Monee, University Park, Matteson, Park Forest, Oak Forest, Bourbonnais, Bradley, Kankakee, Beecher, Grant Park, Frankfort, Mokena, New Lenox ... I'm close to Chicago & Indiana so contact me to discuss.

• Within the United States & Internationally, I do have an active passport, so I can travel throughout th U.S. and abroad ... you'll need to pick up the costs of travel (to and from home, to and from hotel, to and from set-site plus air/hotel/per-diem.

Regarding a music gig - before the gig, you'll need to provide a ticket (general ticket - no need for specific seating ... I'll be moving around the venue) & photo pass from the band, publications, or media outlets.

Presently, October 2025 - I have a day job at Amazon ... so my photo gigs are limited - Sunday, Monday, & Tuesday. But feel free to contact me, you'll find my rate is very favorable ... you might have to be a little patient though.
