Al Luis ("Sonic") is a Chicago-based DIY music producer with 30 years of off & on entertainment experience, including 60+ productions across music videos, indie films, and commercials in Los Angeles — complemented by 15 years in IT.
His venture, Sonic Garage, is a virtual DIY studio launching Fall 2026, built on three pillars: democratized creativity(making professional-quality production accessible and affordable), AI collaboration (leveraging artificial intelligence to keep costs low and prioritize artistic potential over budget), and artist development (helping emerging singers build careers and tell their stories through music).
The "garage" is more than a name — it captures the scrappy, independent spirit of a garage band reimagined for the digital age, where interdisciplinary and intergenerational collaboration meets cutting-edge tools. Sonic Garage exists to turn everyday people (people who moonlight) into artists.
